031 - Race cars (post war)

Post war cars were "propelled" by pushing a special key into the rear - underneath the car. Thereby an internal spring was tensioned. After retraction of the key the car could be started by pushing the lever on the back of the car.  Models of 1945 and later were numbered 1 through 12 and available in Red, Blue, Silver and Beige. The front axle is fixed - the base is usually Silver - although at least 1 version with Blue base is known

Length: 155 mm

Pre-war Most probably 4 pre-production samples. At least 2 of them (the yellowish ones) never made their way to be produced. The "Blue 5" is a 031 post-war - the "Beige 3" a clockwork driven post-war 040
